This restaurant is nice and right on the lake. We always have good service, too
If you go, make sure to get the perch sauteed. The fried perch is good, too, but the sauteed perch is the best perch I have ever eaten.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area! -

It's been a long time since my husband wanted to come back to eat at Pier 23 and we finally made it today. He is from Saginaw and used to come to Tawas almost every summer with his family for holidays when he was a kid, and he and his dad used to love eating at this restaurant. I'm from Argentina and this was my first time at Pier 23 and let me tell you, the food and the people are great! If you like fish, please disregard all the negative reviews and give it a try, belive me, you won't regret it. We had the Perch and the Walleye filet and both were awesome. I've also been told that the seafood pasta is very good.
I hope you come and enjoy it as me and my husband did. Please take into account that now it only opens around and during summer time. -

Nice location and view. Good service. Cod dinner had three very, very small pieces of fish. Even with a 10% Friday night discount, it was ridiculous.

Never again. If the menu says crab, don't put krab on my plate. The only decent part was the side salad. Two thumbs down.
